VANOC promised that the 2010 Games would be “the greenest games ever.” The weather was doing its part at making that pledge come true, unfortunately, VANOC is working against the forces of nature. VANOC is using helicopters to carry snow from the top of Cypress. They are also trucking snow from Manning Park to Cypress to cover up the green slopes of Cypress. “Greeenest games ever”? Hardly. WIth all the snow being trucked from Manning Park to Cypress Bowl the green is being covered.
